i thought the hotel was well located. the metro was very near. the art deco style gives a sense of what 1920/30s might have been like. i found the staff friendly with good english.
most of the rooms require upgrading and they were doing it . upgrading work took place from 9am. i could clearly hear the noise since i stayed just below. the manager shook it off in a rude tone.

the hotel garden is nice. its location is in a prime location, one of the most beautiful areas of the city. the front desk and housekeepers were friendly.
the service need to be better. the man at the front reception who helped me book taxis had an attitude. ac didnt seem to work as the temperature couldnt really be adjusted. it stayed mostly around 21.5 celsius even when i tried to increase it.
